Hey there, fellow adventurers,

Today I want to open up about how I got here, to this website, to this idea, to this community. It's been a long road and I want to share with you my journey so you know without a doubt that I am you. I am no different.

Just a couple of months ago, I was going full speed ahead working my full time job, trading my time for money as I have been since high school. Suddenly, the pervasive thought in my head was "What is life?" Nothing major, just that simple question.

It's funny how when we were kids, life seemed boundless, an endless adventure. But as we grow older and feel the weight of our mortality, we begin to realize just how tiny we are in this vast world. It's like waking up to the realization that we might be missing out on something incredible. Maybe it's because I'm 2 years away from being an empty nester, I don't know, but this feeling is undeniable and unrelenting.

My goal now is clear: to achieve the financial freedom that allows me to explore, to see the world, and to savor the immense richness of our planet. As we all know, life doesn't always unfold the way you think it will and right now my journey is mine and mine alone. Sometimes, you have to carve your own path, not just for yourself but for those who may follow in your footsteps.

The other day, my 16-year old son asked "How is it that I'm in this body and this life and this world and it doesn't ever change? I'm always here and you're always there in that body." Such a profound question for a teenage boy. And it's a philosophical question that I've also pondered over the years. I had no answer, of course, but we shared that special moment of wonder. And I thought about how amazing it would be to be able to take him, and all of the people I love, to the places I've never been and to share the wonders of the world with them.

Embracing this journey doesn't mean we love our lives any less, it just means we want to experience more. More memories, more adventures, and more life. We're here, united by the desire for financial freedom and the courage to chase our dreams.

So, my fellow dream-chasers, let's embark on this journey together, sharing ideas and supporting one another along the way. Together, we can make life's vastness our playground and savor every moment of this incredible journey. 🌍✨

With warmth and wanderlust,

Sandy
